NOKIA 500 Review

The Nokia 500 is loaded with some interesting features such as its 1Ghz processor, its attractive 5MP camera and ofcourse the new Anna OS has lots to explore. And of course its price
which I think is actually cheap.
Price:Rs 10000 approx.

The Good Side:

  • Penta-band 3G with 14.4 Mbps HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA support
  • 3.2" 16M-color TFT capacitive touchscreen of 640 x 360 pixel resolution
  • 5 megapixel fixed-focus camera and VGA video recording @ 15fps; geo-tagging
  • Symbian Anna OS
  • 1 GHz ARM 11 CPU and 256 MB RAM
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g
  • GPS receiver with A-GPS support and free lifetime voice-guided navigation
  • Digital compass
  • Social Networking Integration

The Nokia 500 comes with various color panels to choose from.
The Bad Side:

  • Symbian Anna has a long way to go to catch iOS and Android
  • Camera quality is not as good as expected
  • No flash for a 5MP camera
  • No office document viewer

Over all the Nokia500 is big leap for Nokia but still it has a long way to go especially in the Indian market which was once the citadel of Nokia.
